Graduate Process Engineer

Analog Devices in Limerick has two technically advanced segregated 200mm clean room areas, a mixed signal fabrication area and an area for processing of novel materials. The Process Engineering team is seeking a motivated, experienced Graduate to join our Fab Engineering group on a 36‑month contract located at ADI’s Limerick Plant. This role will operate on a 2‑cycle shift rotating between days and evenings. It is an immersive engineering training program that offers rotational opportunities across key functional areas and support functions such as:
Process, Equipment & Technology Groups
Failure Analysis, EHS, Planning & Reliability
Responsibilities
Development of new technologies
Qualifying new tools to meet ramp requirements
Assisting in transferring processes from sister sites to Limerick
Continuous improvement projects to improve yield and output across the fab
Cycletime reduction projects
Sustainability projects – reduction of water, Green House Gases, PFC chemicals across the fab
Implementation of AI in the fab to improve work practices and enhance control
Minimum qualifications
Degree in Applied Physics, Electronics, Materials, Chemistry, Software or other relevant discipline
Excellent technical problem solving and multi‑tasking skills
Good communication and interaction skills
Data‑driven and ability to apply science theory and engineering concepts
Self‑directing, self‑motivated, and ability to work in a dynamic environment
Preferred qualifications
Good knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing (preferred but not required)
Data analytics skills would be an advantage
