Reports To: Site Operatives, Sub-Contractors
Location: Home-based with nationwide travel to installation sites as required. Significant time may be spent away from home during weekdays and at weekends during peak periods.
Main Objectives
* Support the Contracts Manager and Directors in planning, constructing, and delivering high-quality sports surfaces across Ireland, ensuring value for money.
* Provide leadership and supervision to site operatives and third-party sub-contractors, ensuring work is performed professionally and in accordance with client specifications.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities / Tasks
* Manage third-party sub-contractors on projects, including granting site access, verifying skills and permits, and ensuring compliance with construction plans, safety standards, and professionalism.
* Ensure adherence to SIS Health and Safety procedures by all workers and visitors on site.
* Assist with construction activities as directed, including operating construction plant and machinery safely and efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken.
* Ensure all operatives operate machinery safely, with licenses up to date.
* Other Duties: Undertake additional tasks as required within your competency and skills.
