Compliance Program Manager Role Summary

">

The Senior Compliance Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring all compliance related processes, policies, and practices are documented, tracked, and reported on. They will work with internal partners to remediate risks and gaps.

">

This role focuses on maintaining a repository of compliance related policies and processes pertaining but not limited to labor laws, workplace regulations, and employee-related programs. You will work closely with HR leaders, legal teams, risk and compliance, and cross-functional partners to develop, implement, and monitor compliance processes and associated programs that support the global workforce, mitigating legal and regulatory risks.

Key Responsibilities:

">

1. Create and maintain a central repository of all compliance requirements and processes within the Global People organization
">
2. Maintain and update comprehensive compliance documentation for HR policies, audits, training programs, and other relevant materials
">
3. Develop trusted relationships with key stakeholders to support driving strategic program objectives
">
4. Support management of Compliance Change Management action plans and communications
">
5. Develop, implement, and manage global compliance programs related to employment laws, workplace safety, employee benefits, and other people-related regulatory requirements (e.g., labor laws, non-discrimination, data privacy)
">
6. Work with internal teams to ensure that the company's HR policies and practices are compliant with evolving local, regional, and international laws such as GDPR, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and other employment regulations
">
7. Collaborate with HR leadership to align compliance programs with business goals, ensuring they reflect best practices and mitigate legal risks across the organization
">
8. Use of the ServiceNow platform to provide visibility to senior leadership, and conduct regular risk assessments of HR processes, policies, and practices to identify compliance gaps and areas of improvement
">
9. Support development of the control framework, design and implement controls to address compliance risks and regulatory changes, particularly in areas like employee classification, compensation, benefits, workplace safety, and diversity & inclusion
">
10. Coordinate, and perform monitoring of controls; advise on additional controls needed for mitigation of risks
">
11. Monitor key compliance indicators utilizing dashboards and prepare analyses for senior leadership, ensuring compliance issues are tracked and resolved in a timely manner
">
12. Document and oversee the cadence of recurring audits, compliance processes, etc.
to promote a proactive approach and ensure readiness, and proactively establish the review and analysis of results
">
13. Stay abreast of audit findings, tracking corrective actions and working with Global People teams to implement necessary changes
">
14. Partner with internal teams to customize and implement training programs and resources for the Global People organization to enhance awareness and understanding of compliance standards, legal obligations, and ethical workplace practices
">
15. Provide guidance and support to Global People teams globally on best practices for managing compliance in all people-related functions, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and termination
">
16. Collaborate with global employment legal, privacy, risk, and finance teams to ensure compliance processes are aligned across the organization and support other business units
">
17. Partner with HR operations, talent acquisition, and people systems teams to ensure data privacy and employee record-keeping practices align with global privacy and employment laws
">
18. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in people-related compliance processes and programs
">
19. Stay up to date on global regulatory changes, emerging HR compliance trends, and industry standards, recommending necessary updates to policies and procedures
">
20. Support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance the employee experience while maintaining a strong compliance framework
">

Requirements:

">

21. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master's degree or professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or CCEP preferred)
">
22. 8+ years of experience in HR compliance, operations, risk management, or related fields, with significant exposure to global employment law and HR operations, as well as contingent labor practices
">
23. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex compliance issues to stakeholders at all levels
">
24. Self-motivated, self-directed, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a passion to make an impact
">
25. Demonstrated ability to interface successfully in challenging conversations
">
26. Possess the ability to challenge the 'status quo' and help the team drive the future of compliance
">
27. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically about mitigating HR compliance risks
">
28. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, global environment
">
29. Willing to travel up to 25%+
">
