RGN required for Social Inclusion Community Healthcare East Clonskeagh Hospital, Dublin 6
* Full-time hours
* RGNs with experience in social inclusion or working with marginalized groups. A self-starter and independent worker.
* Initiate nursing assessments, prepare care plans, and evaluate them for all SI groups, including Travellers, Ukrainians, International protection applicants, Homeless persons, and other marginalized groups.
* Prioritize workload and collaborate closely with the DON.
* Provide clinical and outreach nursing services as required.
* Assist with specialized clinics such as sexual health, LGBTQ+ health, and anti-human trafficking services, when necessary.
* Support the development of innovative nursing projects for SI cohorts and implement them.
* Promote equality and inclusivity among all SI groups, including LGBTQ+, domestic violence victims, Traveller and Roma communities, international protection applicants, and Ukrainians.
* Maintain collaborative relationships with statutory, professional, and voluntary organizations involved in healthcare.
* Attend clinical and management supervision sessions with the DON.
* Support primary healthcare projects and SI services.
* Work with community services, NGOs, and other teams to ensure healthcare access and integration.
* Collaborate with social care staff regarding patient care.
* Support national screening initiatives for the Travelling community, including cardiovascular, pulmonary, and metabolic disorders.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to meet client needs and advocate for them.
* Respect client dignity and confidentiality.
* Follow HSE policies, nursing guidelines, and professional standards.
* Manage incidents effectively and respond to emergencies.
* Contribute to quality assurance, risk assessments, and data collection.
* Adhere to documentation standards and maintain professional ethics.
* Promote safety for clients, families, and staff.
* Participate in clinical audits, team meetings, and policy development.
* Contribute to service improvement initiatives and training programs.
* Mentor and coach staff and projects in healthcare programs.
* Engage in continuous professional development and training.
* Act as a resource to enable effective healthcare delivery and positive health outcomes.
