New Business Development Director
This role requires a proactive, results-driven professional with a deep understanding of the insurance market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and providing tailored insurance solutions that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including networking, referrals, and market research.
2. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients.
3. Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective clients to understand their insurance needs and objectives.
4. Conduct meetings and presentations to showcase insurance solutions.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to design and propose tailored insurance solutions.
6. Pursue sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
7. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
8. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market insights.
Requirements:
* Industry experience in Commercial Lines roles in a brokerage/insurance environment.
* A proven track record within a Commercial Lines New Business Role.
* Minimum mandatory qualification: Certified Insurance Practitioner (CIP) working towards MDI qualification.
* Extensive knowledge and experience of the commercial insurance market, products, and services.
* Strong knowledge of the client market and insurance industry network.
