About the Role
The Supermarket Store Manager will oversee the daily operations of a busy store located in Limerick/Tipperary border.
* Manage all aspects of store operations, including opening, closing, cash handling and staff supervision.
* Lead and motivate a team to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
* Oversee stock control, ordering and inventory management to ensure shelves are always stocked.
* Handle rostering, training and performance management for staff members.
* Maintain store presentation standards, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
* Monitor store performance and implement strategies to drive growth and profitability.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene standards.
Key Requirements
* A minimum of 2-3 years experience in a dynamic retail management position is ideal.
* Strong people management and leadership skills are essential.
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities are required.
* A proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing costs is necessary.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed is a must.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) is desirable.
