What you will do
The purpose of the role is to complete servicing, troubleshooting, diagnosis & repair of HVACR equipment, as well as preventative maintenance of various HVACR systems. This is a mobile, full-time role. As the HVAC Service Engineer you are the primary contact for all technical service issues, accountable for resolving highly complex systems within a set timeframe and according to defined processes, service agreements and customer needs.
What we look for
* F-GAS certificate.
* At least 5-7 years of proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or HVAC Service Technician.
* Experience with major HVAC manufacturers such as Daikin, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric.
* Capable of working without detailed procedures and with limited supervision.
* Clean Irish Driving License.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Job Description – HVAC Technician (Engie Refrigeration)
The role requires working as part of a mobile team performing maintenance, installation, and repair of various HVAC equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Carry out planned maintenance, fault‑finding, diagnosis and repairs on HVAC equipment.
* Assist in commissioning and validation of HVAC systems.
* Maintain and update service vehicle and tools.
* Join the on‑call rota out‑of‑hours.
* Follow H&S legislation, RAMS and conduct risk assessments.
Requirements
* City & Guilds 2079 (Category 1) F‑Gas qualification or equivalent.
* Full driver’s licence.
* Solid knowledge of health & safety legislation and work permits.
* Experience with a range of HVAC systems (split, multi, chilled water, DX, fan coil, etc.).
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Job Description – Refrigeration / Air Conditioning Engineer
Qualified service refrigeration and air conditioning engineer needed for a permanent position in Munster.
Key Responsibilities
* Service and preventive maintenance of refrigeration and AC units (splits, VRV/VRF, chiller, etc.).
* Installation of A/C and refrigeration units.
* Troubleshoot and repair HVACR systems.
* Maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements
* Valid Safe Pass.
* Full clean driver’s licence.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong computer and record keeping skills.
* Willingly work after hours and join standby rota.
Job Description – Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer (Industry)
Engaged in large installations and maintenance tasks across various sectors.
