is currently recruiting for a
Conference & Banqueting Porter
to join the Team.
The Ballymascanlon Hotel is a four-star property set on 130 acres of beautiful parkland, this impressive Victorian House forms the heart of this Hotel. It is one of the most remarkable historical estates in Ireland dating back to 833 A.D.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
* Setting up meeting rooms, banquet halls or conference spaces according to function sheets
* Set up tables and chairs for weddings according to the seating plan
* Moving and arranging furniture, linens, crockery, glassware, cutlery and decorations
* Assisting with serving food and beverages if required
* Monitoring stock of supplies during events (e.g., tea/coffee stations, stationery for conferences)

* Strong attention to detail to ensure rooms are presented to a high standard.
* Ability to follow instructions, floor plans and event briefs accurately.
* Time management skills – able to work efficiently to meet event deadlines.
* Flexibility and adaptability – able to adjust quickly for last-minute changes.
* Good teamwork and communication skills
