About The RoleAssistant General Manager - Healthcare Job Description:Reporting to the General Manager, the role holder will have full ownership for the provision of Cleaning Services across a number of healthcare sites in the region. Role and Responsibilities:• Act as the single point of contact and escalation for all Bidvest Noonan activities on behalf of the client in the absence of the General Manager Manage the client relationship and ensure a high level of service performance from Bidvest Noonan teams and suppliersEnsure full compliance with health, safety and environmental, KPI and audit requirementsManage the cleaning frequencies according to the specification document, ensuring full compliance with sameLiaise with external sub-contractors to ensure works are coordinated and completed in line with agreed schedulesAttend client meetings, developing strong internal customer relationshipsEnsure the General Manager is kept informed of any operational progress and any potential issuesAbility to identify, implement and manage changeApplication and development of industry best practice to all sites on the contract, endorsing new company initiatives and ensuring they are implementedActively participate in Industry AwardsAssume financial responsibility, in conjunction with the General Manager, for allocated areas on the Profit & Loss account to include wages, equipment, janitorial supplies etc.Create and maintain a profitable service delivery model for all sites to include integration of bundled services where possibleIdentification of new business opportunities for the Group, to include both hard and soft services, advising the General Manager in this regardOversee the recruitment and retention of a core group of competent capable Cleaning Operatives and Janitors to deliver best in class cleaning solutionEnsure all staff are fully trained in cleaning techniques including HIQA Health and Safety and in accordance with BIC's standard, keeping training records of sameManage annual leave requests, timesheets and all staff issues, complying with HR Policies and ProceduresManage a team of Sector Managers and Trainers in the absence of the General ManagerAttend weekly client audits and deliver a program of site audits in line with the SLAManaging a sector of wards on a day today basis ensuring standards are met in line with the SLAEnsure that communication across each site represents the professional image of the CompanyEnsure that all staff are presented in full appropriate uniformRequirements Previous experience in the Facilities Management Industry, preferably within the Healthcare SectorFull Clean Driver's LicenceValid Visa to work in Ireland on a full-time basis.
