Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping processes that deliver safety, quality, and productivity.
* Lead the implementation of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to ensure smooth and timely execution.
* Manage validation activities and oversee First Article Inspection (FAIR) reporting to guarantee compliance.
* Support New Product Introductions (NPI), acting as a project lead and collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams to drive success.
* Provide CAD support, create technical drawings, and design jigs and fixtures to optimize manufacturing efficiency.
* Define and optimize manufacturing and assembly processes, including external subcontract processes, to minimize waste and enhance productivity.
* Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and production system requirements to maintain excellence.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
* Stay current with new technologies and best practices within manufacturing to stay ahead of the curve.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
* 3-5 years' experience in medical devices or highly regulated industries (pharma, aerospace, automotive).
* CAD experience (SolidWorks or equivalent) is essential.
* Familiarity with investigative techniques and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab) is desirable.
* Strong problem-solving mindset and passion for process improvement are crucial.
