We're seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team, responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our 1,400 members and guests. As a hands-on Head Chef, you'll oversee daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation, while ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene, and customer service.*Key Responsibilities:**Menu Planning and Development:* Create and update menus for bar, brunch, carvery, and set dinner menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and member preferences. *Kitchen Operations:* Manage kitchen staff, including recruitment, training, and scheduling, to ensure efficient service 7 days a week. *Food Quality and Presentation:* Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, adhering to health and safety regulations. *Event Management:* Coordinate and execute large events, ensuring timely and exceptional service. *Budgeting and Cost Control:* Manage food costs, inventory, and supplies, optimizing resources while maintaining quality standards. *Team Leadership:* Foster a positive and productive kitchen environment, promoting teamwork and professional development. *Compliance:* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and food handling regulations.Requirements:*Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen Culinary arts degree or equivalent qualification Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings Passion for delivering exceptional customer serviceThis is a hands-on role, requiring the Head Chef to be actively involved in kitchen operations.
