We are seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to join our dynamic and innovative OTS team on a client site. The Senior Project Scheduler will develop, oversee, and maintain project schedules within the site P6 database. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, developing schedules from project conception to production start, creating and integrating schedules, managing workflows, and generating progress reports and metrics for management. Key responsibilities include developing and managing resource-loaded schedules in P6, interacting with stakeholders to ensure resource demands are accurately reflected.
Responsibilities
* Provide end-to-end schedule development and management for all project phases, from design through manufacturing, including construction, commissioning, and qualification.
* Manage project controls, including baseline schedule development, performance tracking, reporting, change control, risk management, and earned value management.
* Support the development of integrated master schedules in Primavera P6 that reflect interface milestones and activity durations across multiple schedules.
* Manage the schedule portfolio for large capital projects and core business projects.
* Generate progress reports for Project Managers.
* Summarize individual contractor programs into overall project schedules.
* Perform high-level resource loading of schedules to produce progress reports.
* Assess owner resource demand to support capital project delivery.
* Develop and communicate schedule recovery plans as needed.
* Chair schedule workshops with cross-functional teams.
* Review and integrate detailed design, contracts, construction, and commissioning programs.
* Develop commissioning programs with the commissioning team.
* Attend weekly contractor meetings across various projects.
* Build working relationships with line managers and team members through open communication.
Qualifications
* University degree or college diploma in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Certification in Primavera P6 from Oracle.
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with large-scale project experience preferred.
* Proficiency in Primavera P6 software for over 5 years.
* Understanding of project scope across multiple engineering disciplines, considering design, contracts, and site conditions.
* Experience in resource loading and developing progress measures using earned value management.
* Experience managing project schedules throughout their lifecycle.
* Ability to prepare various schedule reports, including histograms, S-curves, and progress reports.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in project coordination and management.
* Proficiency in MS Project Scheduling tools.
