Overview
As Logistics Operations Analyst, you will deliver analytical support to key stakeholders across the logistics operation for various purposes. You will report directly to the Logistics Manager and be responsible for Profit & Loss (P&L), Data Management of Logistics Planning, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Report on daily and weekly logistics performances and volumes.
* Review volumes and provide invaluable support during peak business periods to understand the impact on warehouse throughput and capacity.
* Report on weekly operational and performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assist and support the logistics operations in managing performance.
* Create centralized logistics dashboards for decision makers.
* Support senior management with ad-hoc requests that support business growth.
* Budgeting and forecasting.
* Provide detailed analytical support for projects.
* Continuously utilize new data to highlight opportunities to apply new data and information by creating reports that align with business values.
* Develop a standardized, centralized reporting structure for all logistics clients and maintain and improve it.
* Develop reports to represent key operational measurements of operations, ensuring accuracy, informativeness, and comprehensibility for various audiences.
* Be responsible for financial reporting and review process for Logistics P&L.
* Plan and run reviews with stakeholders, consolidate, analyze, and deliver comprehensive reporting packages.
Qualifications
* A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in supply chain, logistics, or business.
* 2-3 years' experience in data analysis and report generation.
* Self-directed working style and ability to make well-informed decisions.
* Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with experience communicating and building relationships with stakeholders.
* Results-driven with excellent attention to detail.
* IT literate with excellent Excel skills.
* Ability to data mine and analyze large quantities of data and present it in its simplest form to key stakeholders.
* Excellent planning and organizational skills to ensure implementation within required deadlines.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver high-quality work to timescale and manage and prioritize own workload.
* Previous Warehouse Management System (WMS) systems experience.
