Responsibilities
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Floor Polishing Specialist to join our team at (Company Name). In this role, you will be responsible for restoring the shine and luster to a variety of floor surfaces in both residential and commercial settings. Perform floor polishing and buffing services on a variety of surfaces, including hardwood, vinyl, marble, tiles, and terrazzo.
Assess the condition of floors to determine the appropriate treatment and polishing methods.
Apply floor polish or finishing products, ensuring even coverage and a smooth, glossy finish.
Use polishing machines and equipment safely and efficiently to restore the floor’s shine.
Strip and reseal floors as needed to maintain their longevity and appearance.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment, ensuring everything is in good working condition.
Communicate with customers to explain the process, timelines, and care instructions for polished floors.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed when working with cleaning chemicals and machinery.
Perform light maintenance and touch‑ups as required after the polishing process is complete.
Qualifications
Proven experience in floor polishing or floor care (preferred but not required).
Ability to work with different types of floor surfaces and finishes.
Familiarity with floor polishing equipment and products.
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of quality.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Good communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures to clients.
Physically fit and able to perform manual labor, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy equipment.
Full clean driving license.
