The Role
Reporting to the Orthopaedic Sales Manager, you'll represent the Ortho portfolio to Key Opinion Leaders and major hospital groups across Dublin. Your customers will include Orthopaedic Surgeons, Registrars, Theatre Teams, and Procurement professionals in both private and HSE settings.
What you'll do:
Year One Focus: Strengthen existing customer relationships and support their clinical needs while becoming a product expert.
Beyond Year One:
Develop and manage clinical relationships across your territory.
Promote and demonstrate products in-theatre.
Deliver education sessions and product training.
Drive sales growth and achieve agreed targets in both key accounts and new business.
Attend exhibitions and clinical meetings.
Maintain deep knowledge of your territory, including customer insights, competitor activity, and market trends.
Report regularly on performance, prospects, and business plans.
Manage company assets, including consignment inventory, ensuring ROI.
Respond promptly to leads and enquiries to maximise opportunities.
Collaborate with colleagues to leverage cross-business opportunities.
What we're looking for:
Minimum 2+ years' experience in one of the following: Orthopaedic Territory Management, Clinical Support (trauma), Physiotherapy (hospital/private), Theatre Nursing (orthopaedic trauma), or Biomechanical/Biomedical Engineering.
Proven sales experience is a strong advantage.
Third-level qualification (NFQ Level 8 or equivalent).
Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to medical professionals.
Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and influencing skills.
Strong IT proficiency (Microsoft Office).
Full driving licence required.
