The Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the physical, mental, and occupational wellbeing of employees within a manufacturing environment. Conduct pre-employment health assessments and fitness-for-work evaluations. Manage health surveillance programmes in line with occupational exposure risks (e.g., noise, respiratory hazards, manual handling, chemical exposure). Perform medical screenings and health assessments as required. Maintain confidential employee health records in accordance with GDPR and nursing standards. Delivering occupational health services Managing workplace health programmes Supporting injury and illness management Ensuring compliance with Irish health and safety legislation, and contributing to a safe and healthy workplace culture Qualifications Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Minimum 3 years' post-registration nursing experience. Ideally 1 years' experience in occupational health, ideally within manufacturing, pharmaceutical, engineering, or industrial environments.
