Social Team Executive

Business in the Community Ireland (BITCI) is excited to invite candidates to apply for the position of Social Team Executive in BITCI's Advisory Team.

Purpose of the role: To support the delivery of BITCI's Social Inclusion projects and services to member companies and partner organisations.

Job Summary 

1. Permanent role 35 hours per week- subject to a 6-month probationary period.
2. Salary € 35,000 per annum.
3. Role is based in Dublin (hybrid role, office location is Dublin 7).
4. Minimum of two years' experience working in a business, sustainability, or social inclusion environment.
5. Experience conducting research and working with qualitative and quantitative information, with attention to data management, interpretation, and reporting.
6. Knowledge of the Irish charity sector and/or Irish business landscape.
7. Strong IT skills with full proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Job description

The Social Team Executive will work with Advisers in the Responsible Business Team, and colleagues in BITCI's Employment and Education Programmes, to support the delivery of BITCI's Social Inclusion services. This role is dedicated to strengthening BITCI's impact by supporting projects that connect businesses, social organisations, and communities in order to create a more inclusive society.

Core Responsibilities

19. Conduct desktop research on social inclusion topics, businesses, and charity/social organisations, and generate insights based on information analysis.
20. Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of workshops, meetings, and events.
21. Liaise with businesses and charity/social organisations to provide guidance and information, and foster effective partnerships.
22. Use CRM systems to build and maintain accurate records of company and charity engagement.
23. Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and other outputs for internal and external stakeholders.
24. Assist with the design and delivery of new social inclusion services.

Person specification

Qualifications and Knowledge

25. Educated to degree level (or with equivalent experience), preferably in business, social sciences, sustainable development, or a related discipline.

Core skills

26. Minimum of two years' experience working in a business, sustainability, or social inclusion environment.
27. Experience conducting research and working with qualitative and quantitative information, with attention to data management, interpretation, and reporting.
28. Knowledge of the Irish charity sector and/or Irish business landscape.
29. Strong IT skills with full proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
30. Demonstrated ability in customer relationship management.
31. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
32. Strong attention to detail, conscientious, and well-organised.

Desirable Experience

33. Previous work in a corporate CSR team.
34. Experience managing or supporting corporate partnerships for a charity organisation.
35. Experience using CRM systems to manage stakeholder information.

37. Highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and planning.
