Senior Analyst, Portfolio and Fund Management

Position Summary
The candidate will join the Portfolio & Fund Management ("PFM") Team supporting the management of the firm’s assets, financing facilities, and funds. Based in Dublin, the Senior Analyst will benefit from the support and experience of the PFM team, members of Carlyle Aviation Partners senior management in Miami and Dublin, as well as external industry professionals.
Responsibilities
1. Asset Analysis
2. Asset-level modelling to determine optimal outcomes for returns, including lease extensions, restructurings, new leases, and sales.
3. Liaising with departments (trading, marketing, accounting, legal, technical) for information.
4. Maintaining portfolio models with regular updates and appraisal analysis.
5. Preparing approval memoranda for key portfolio and asset decisions.
6. Fund level modelling, including asset, liability, and cash flow analysis.
7. Preparing cash flows for banks.
8. Creating presentations for rating agencies and potential investors/lenders.
9. Handling ad hoc queries from other parties.
10. Reviewing materials including offering documents and legal documentation.
Reporting & Investor Relations
1. Liaising with accounting on monthly collections.
2. Preparing/reviewing distribution waterfalls, ensuring liquidity and covenants compliance.
3. Preparing servicer updates for quarterly board meetings.
4. Responding to Board questions.
5. Communicating with equity owners about developments and updates.
Qualifications
Education & Certificates
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, or similar.
Professional Experience
* 2-3+ years of experience; aviation experience is a plus but not essential.
* Financial modelling expertise.
* Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
* Excellent communication, writing, and attention to detail.
* Ability to work under tight deadlines, flexible hours.
* Self-starter, team player.
* Excellent time management, multi-project handling.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Fluent in English.
