Overview
Aramark is seeking a Team Lead for a busy restaurant. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, fluent in English, and experience in a similar role is advantageous. Knowledge of HACCP & Health & Safety is essential, as is the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
Support the Management Team and perform supervisory duties in the restaurant.
Ensure all team members adhere to company policies and procedures.
Assist Management Team with new team member training under the Buddy System.
Conduct team meetings and mentor group sessions to update members on best practices and expectations.
Provide comprehensive feedback on team performance and service delivery at daily briefings with the line manager.
Ensure brand materials and physical working spaces meet presentation standards and compliance (90%).
Deliver quality customer service as per SLA, including interacting with customers, answering enquiries, and handling complaints.
Delegate tasks and meet daily service timelines.
Oversee day‑to‑day operation with onsite Management Team.
Motivate team members.
Organise workflow and ensure clear understanding of duties.
Monitor employee productivity and provide coaching where required.
Enforce legal and company policies, taking disciplinary actions when necessary.
Secure all areas before leaving the building.
Report defective equipment to line manager or via handover book.
Verify that all departments and equipment are closed properly and doors are locked.
Assist the unit manager with any admin tasks needed during shifts.
