Job Opportunity:
Cpl, in partnership with Avista, seeks an experienced and passionate Day Service Manager to lead a dedicated team delivering high-quality day services supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
About the Role:
* Lead a team to deliver person-led day services promoting independence, inclusion, and individual choice.
* Collaborate to implement strategic objectives and develop new initiatives.
* E nsure compliance with New Directions standards, policies, and national guidelines.
* Support individuals achieving meaningful outcomes through person-centred planning and community engagement.
* Oversee service operations including coordination, staffing, budgeting, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily operations and contribute to service development.
* Supervise and support staff teams ensuring effective performance and development.
* Foster partnerships with families, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders.
* Promote inclusion, independence, and advocacy for service users.
* Monitor and improve service quality, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
Candidate Profile:
* A strong leader with relevant professional qualification in Social Care or related field.
* Proven experience managing services for people with intellectual disabilities.
* Strong knowledge of person-centred supports, HSE standards, and best practices.
* Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* A passion for innovation, inclusion, and empowering others to live their best lives.
