Research Assistant/Fellow Opportunity
The RCSI Centre for Positive Health Sciences is an innovative research team seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join us for nearly 2 years. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to cutting-edge research focused on enhancing health and wellbeing in the workplace.
This exciting role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary research team, external partners, and stakeholders across multiple projects. Your primary duties will include:
* Working closely with researchers to investigate innovative approaches to enhancing wellbeing and health in the workplace
* Liaising professionally and sensitively with research participants to ensure ethical and respectful engagement
* Providing comprehensive administrative support for research projects, including scheduling, documentation, record-keeping, and correspondence
* Organising, attending, and actively contributing to project meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items
* Supporting grant management and reporting, including drafting progress reports, collating supporting materials, and ensuring timely submission to funding bodies
* Assisting researchers with data collection and analysis activities, including transcription, coding, and organising research materials
* Contributing to literature reviews, synthesis of evidence, data interpretation, and preparation of research publications and reports
* Helping with the preparation of conference presentations, academic posters, and public dissemination materials
* Coordinating participant recruitment, consent, and data management procedures in line with research ethics guidelines
* Supporting the organisation and delivery of workshops, seminars, and community engagement events related to project outcomes
* Maintaining accurate, confidential records and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations
* Contributing to the wider work of the Centre, including events, community engagement activities, and strategic initiatives as required
Required Skills and Qualifications:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. A strong academic background and relevant experience in research administration or a related field are essential.
