Job Title: Material Planner
About the Role:
The Material Planner will manage and optimize Inventory Control (IC) and Inventory Management (IM) processes. This includes supporting demand plans, production strategies, and integrating new products/businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support customer order commitments and communicate changes promptly.
* Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure product availability and manage inventories.
* Handle ISS and SO market orders; manage open order reports.
* Act as escalation point for supply issues.
* Analyze forecast vs. actual demand to identify trends.
* Alert manufacturing/scheduling teams of demand or capacity shifts.
* Support Pack PAR changes and minimize financial exposure.
General Responsibilities:
* Adhere to site policies, cGMP/GLP, and EHS regulations.
* Ensure audit readiness and documentation compliance.
* Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.
* Execute tasks in line with Right First Time principles.
* Resolve or escalate issues appropriately.
Requirements:
* Educated to third-level qualification in Purchasing, Materials Management, Business, or Science.
* Minimum 2 years in Manufacturing Planning, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
* Strong attention to detail and documentation.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Clear communicator with a solution-oriented mindset.
* Strong prioritization and multitasking skills.
