Job Description
A Portfolio Operations (PO) Junior Associate Director will operate and oversee reconciliation and NAV review technology to deliver a full reconciled gross Net Asset Value to client operations teams or clients, including cash, positions, unsettled trade and accrued interest reconciliations, primarily serving the Bank Debt book of business. The role requires a strong understanding of investment fund value drivers, product types, and day‑to‑day operations with counterparties, as well as an eagerness to learn new technologies and skills.
Key Responsibilities
Perform GAV reviews, review staff’s work and allocate tasks.
Monitor client SLAs and ensure strict adherence.
Maintain knowledge of loans, including private and syndicated loans, delayed draws, and revolvers.
Oversee PL anomalies, identify causes, and solve issues.
Utilise Markit, Clearpar and WSO for full reconciliations.
Ensure client and process knowledge is maintained across the team and adequate bench strength exists.
Act as an escalation point for staff challenges.
Provide excellent client service to all internal and external clients.
Respond to client queries in a timely and efficient manner.
Oversee new client onboarding.
Supervise reconciliation and data transmission technology.
Qualifications
Demonstrable experience within the investor services or asset management industry.
Knowledge of the Geneva system is an advantage.
