Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading provider of innovative and sustainable building services solutions across the UK and Ireland. This organisation designs, develops and delivers offsite prefabricated energy solutions, supporting commercial energy centres and large-scale district heating projects throughout the UK and Europe.
With in-house manufacturing facilities and a strong reputation for quality, safety and technical excellence, they are continuing to expand and are now seeking a Project Co-Ordinator to join their Contracts team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Co-Ordinator will support the delivery and programming of commercial heating and energy solutions, including containerised plantrooms, modular pipework systems, and large-scale plant installations.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, working closely with manufacturing, fabrication, and site teams across the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.
Your responsibilities as a Project Co-Ordinator
1. Develop and maintain project programmes, master schedules and detailed sub-schedules
2. Monitor fabrication, assembly and delivery through quality management systems
3. Work with site teams to ensure materials are delivered in line with project schedules
4. Oversee manufacturing and fabrication progress against the project plan
5. Coordinate delivery schedules with clients and hauliers
6. Coordinate material take-offs and procurement to meet manufacturing and project timelines
7. Chair weekly project meetings, identifying risks and agreeing corrective actions
8. Monitor project budgets and highlight deviations to senior management
9. Report project progress to internal and external stakeholders
10. Manage change control processes, ensuring scope variations are agreed before implementation
11. Occasional travel to satellite production sites
As a Project Co-Ordinator, ideally you will have:
12. Experience coordinating projects within manufacturing, building services or construction
13. Ability to develop and manage project schedules and documentation
14. Strong organisational and multitasking skills
15. Confident communicator with experience liaising with clients and cross-functional teams
16. Experience chairing meetings and presenting progress updates
17. Understanding of procurement processes and material take-offs
18. Budget awareness and ability to flag financial deviations
19. Proactive approach to risk identification and problem-solving
20. Fluency in written and spoken English
