Accounts Assistant Job Description:
As an accounts assistant, you will be part of a dynamic and busy accounting team. Your key responsibilities include processing high volumes of accounts payable invoices, setting up new supplier accounts, dealing with queries on invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and processing payments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process high volume of accounts payable invoices
* Set up new supplier accounts
* Deal with any queries on invoices
* Reconcile Supplier statements
* Process payment of invoices
* Process the weekly payroll
* Assist with documentation to ensure the payroll is processed correctly and on time
* Process all documentation for starters and leavers across the organisation
* Deal swiftly and assist with any payroll related queries
* Produce payroll reports
* Deal with payroll queries
* Perform ad hoc payroll related duties
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years experience working in a busy accounts function ideally with AP experience
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good team player attitude
* Strong communication and ability to self-organise skills
* Positive can do attitude
