Assistant Front Office Manager – €37,000+ | 4-Star Hotel | Co. Kerry
We are recruiting an Assistant Front Office Manager for a prestigious 4-star hotel in County Kerry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional and motivated Assistant Front Office Manager to join a well-established property and support the smooth running of a busy front office department. You will report directly to the Front Office Manager and lead the team in delivering exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the day-to-day management of the Front Office team, stepping in for the Front Office Manager when needed.
* Support the implementation and training of SOPs and front office standards.
* Ensure seamless arrival and departure procedures to maximise guest satisfaction.
* Handle reservation enquiries with efficiency and a high level of guest care.
* Liaise with Accommodation to coordinate room allocations and availability.
* Attend department meetings and contribute to operational decisions.
* Promote the hotel’s facilities, F&B offerings, and local attractions to guests.
* Maintain accurate filing and departmental admin.
* Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new front office staff.
Requirements
* Previous experience as an Assistant Front Office Manager in a 4-star or similar hotel is essential.
* Strong knowledge of front office systems – ideally Opera PMS.
* Fluent spoken and written English.
* Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.
* A hands-on approach and the ability to lead a dynamic team under pressure.
