Healthcare Assistant
We are currently recruiting for Healthcare Assistants to support wards and clinical areas.
Duties within the role include:
* Support the designated Wards and Theatre areas in providing the best patient care
* Assist in Operating Theatres
* To escort patients to other departments and hospitals as necessary
* Adhere to hospital policy on moving and handling
* Be aware of and adhere to the hospital guidelines relating to infection control.
* Effective communication with patients, other hospital staff and the general public
* Assisting with all aspects of personal care
* Other duties which may be delegated from time to time by your Line Manager
Candidate Requirements
* Fetac/QQI Level 5 in a relevant Healthcare discipline
* Minimum 1 years experience desirable
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Flexibility with shift patterns
* Eligibility to work in Ireland/hold valid working permit
* Demonstrate a willingness to learn and have a proactive approach to developing new skills
