Role Overview
As an eCommerce Operations Executive, you will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and serve as the central nervous system of our online business. We operate a flat structure within the business without many layers of management.
You will own the operational excellence of our Shopify store across 10+ international markets. You will bridge the gap between the digital storefront and the physical supply chain, ensuring that what the customer sees on the site matches exactly what is sitting in the warehouse.
This is a job for someone who wants to work and progress in an eCommerce career. You will work in a start-up with an experienced but cutting-edge team which will enable you to learn and progress at an extremely fast pace.
Key Responsibilities
1. Shopify Store & Content Operations
* Site Management: execute daily site updates including uploading promotional banners, configuring landing pages, and managing navigation menus.
* Release QA: Act as the final quality check for website changes. Test new features, apps, and design tweaks to ensure they work perfectly across mobile and desktop before going live.
* User Journey: Constantly monitor the path-to-purchase to identify friction points (e.g., broken links, checkout errors) and fix them immediately.
2. Online & Offline Integration
* Product Data: maintain the "source of truth" for product data (SKUs, weights, pricing, barcodes), ensuring our inventory systems communicate correctly with the website.
* Inventory Integrity: Manage the interplay between our physical warehouse and the digital store. You will ensure stock levels on Shopify are 100% accurate to prevent overselling.
* Logistics Support: Troubleshoot order flow issues—investigating why an order didn't sync to the warehouse or why a tracking number wasn't sent to a customer including supporting customer service.
3. Multi-Market Localization Management
* International Operations: Manage the backend operations for over 10 different language sites. You are not expected to translate, but you will manage the apps and workflows that serve content to different regions.
* Localization QA: Ensure that correct currencies, shipping rates, and translated content are displaying correctly for customers in Germany, France, Spain, etc.
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Education: Bachelor's degree (Business, Supply Chain, Data, Marketing, or related).
* Experience: 0–2 years of experience. We are open to recent graduates with strong internships or those with some junior operational experience.
* Tech-Curious Mindset: You do not need to know how to code (HTML/CSS), but you must have a "willingness to learn." You should be fearless when clicking around backend systems and eager to Google a solution if you don't know it.
* Operational & Logical Thinking: You enjoy logic and order. You understand that if you change a setting in Place A, it might affect Place B, and you know to check both.
* Data Competency: Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets (handling large product lists, CSV exports, and basic formulas).
* Language: Native or Bilingual (C2) Proficiency is required.
