Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Technician to join our Sample Registration and Warehouse Team.
You will be responsible for completing a range of tasks within the Logistics department to ensure the effective and efficient receipt, registration and storage of samples.
Key Responsibilities:
* To receive, register and prepare samples in accordance with sample stability times
* To comply with ISO 17025 and quality management system requirements
* To pack and distribute samples to customers or subcontractors via courier services
* To filter waste water samples
* To maintain sample bottles and dispose of them after analysis
* To wash glassware
* To process returns or waste for recycling or disposal
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* A leaving certificate or similar qualification required
* A driving license is essential
* Proficiency in IT skills including Excel, Outlook and ability to use in-house software
* Ability to learn new software
* Ability to work under tight deadlines
* Accuracy in work
* Effective communication skills
