Junior Project Manager Pathway to PM
Are you ready to accelerate your career and grow into a full Project Manager role? Our client is seeking a proactive and driven Junior Project Manager to support and lead exciting, multi-site projects across Leinster.
About the Role
This is your chance to step into a strategic, client-facing role where leadership, learning, and impact go hand-in-hand. You will work alongside our experienced Project Managers to oversee multiple concurrent projects, guiding them from initial survey to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Client Engagement: Support client communications and ensure expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
* Project Coordination: Assist in managing subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams across all sites.
* Budget & Cost Control: Monitor costs and contribute to budget tracking and analysis.
* Risk Management: Identify and resolve issues early using reports and site feedback.
* Quality Assurance: Review QA documents before client submission, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
* Health & Safety: Ensure safety compliance by reviewing RAMS and supporting safety-focused site operations.
* Documentation & Reporting: Keep stakeholders informed with weekly progress reports and maintain accurate project records.
* Continuous Improvement: Log corrective and preventative actions using our internal WI Systems.
* Supportive Admin Tasks: Provide ongoing administrative and strategic support to the PM and wider team.
Requirements
* Previous Experience: Previous experience as an Assistant PM or 24 years in a construction, engineering, or technical environment (desirable but not essential).
* Comfortable Managing Multiple Projects: Comfortable managing multiple projects and shifting priorities.
* Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication, team coordination, and problem-solving skills.
* Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and ZOHO (or similar project management tools).
* Educational Qualifications: Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred, but not essential).
* Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented with a proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
