JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Demand Planner Ireland
Primary Function
Responsible for Demand & Supply Planning of Products ensuring that Abbott Diagnostic operations provides a high-Quality Customer service to both internal and external Customers.
Effective financial and inventory management.
Major Responsibilities
Demand & Supply Planning of a defined product group to assure the availability of Quality products in the right time, place and quantity.
Accountable for the Financial and inventory management of Products under Planner's remit.
Accountable for the manufacturing site Supply Plan.
For new & ramp-up ramp down products, Planner is accountable for retrieving Demand working with Project Management, Regulatory, Marketing and Commercial to ensuring product availability and product fiscal management.
Communicate and support Global Affiliates with available information, reservations and special requests when required.
Set allocations, assignments, reservations according to Customer requirements.
Communicate and work with Manufacturing sites ensuring on-time delivery of orders.
Support Programs requiring Demand management ensuring Customer Supply.
Establish & carry out monthly/weekly reports & required KPI ´s.
Support Global Financial processes for your product group.
Identify and implement both System and process improvements.
Supervisory / Management Responsibility
Works independently or Individual Contributor.
Education
The following level of education provides a necessary foundation for this job function:
A relevant third level qualification, preferably a degree and/ or APICs or IIPMM qualification as this qualification provides a good foundation for this job function.

Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment (preference regulated environment)
Good communication skills with all levels of the organisation
