Overview
Based in our Cork Office, PM Group has an opportunity for an experienced Procurement Administrator to join their busy Procurement Department. Reporting to the Commercial Services Manager, the Procurement Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Procurement Department activities associated with Capital Projects.
Responsibilities
- As a Procurement Graduate at PM Group, your day-to-day role would involve, but not be limited to, the following activities in assisting project procurement personnel:
- Work cooperatively within a group and across PM Group to achieve company goals in a respectful manner.
- Foster a collegiate environment. Understand team dynamics and be tolerant of differing needs and viewpoints.
- Build positive relationships with internal team members.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplined team on projects.
- Demonstrate professionalism when representing the project / PM Group.
- Assist in the prequalification process.
- Assist with the preparation of bid lists.
- Assist in the preparation of Request for Quotations (RFQs) and Request for Tenders (RFTs).
- Assist with the coordination of RFIs.
- Assist with change management.
- Assist in the evaluation of tenders and the preparation of tender reports.
- Assist with the reconciliation of tenders with package budgets.
- Manage Equipment procurement schedules (EPS).
- Manage the day-to-day systems used by the department, such as Commercial Manage System (CMS), Cork Business Unit SharePoint, and Sourcedogg.
- Assist with the valuation of change orders, interim payments, and final accounts.
- Focus efforts on successfully achieving standards of excellence in delivery of goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- A degree in Business or Supply Chain at level 7 or 8.
- Ability to work in a vibrant multi-discipline project environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong work ethic.
