Restaurant Junior Sous /Sous Chef

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven chef to join a high-performing kitchen specialising in premium steak and seafood offerings.
The role will support the Head Chef in leading a busy kitchen operation, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and high culinary standards.
Our client is a well-established and reputable restaurant known for its focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and exceptional dining experiences.
The Duties
Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
Lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes consistently
Ensure all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards
Manage stock control, ordering, and waste management
Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
Assist in menu development, particularly within steak and seafood offerings
Train and develop junior kitchen staff
Ensure smooth service during busy periods and maintain operational efficiency
The Must Requirements to be Considered
Must have experience in Hospitality
Must have experience in a Sous Chef role or be ready to step forward in their career
Strong experience in high-volume, quality-driven kitchens (steak/seafood experience desirable)
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI
Visa and Relocation packages are not provided
