Job Title: Midwife
The role of a Midwife is multifaceted and demands exceptional care, compassion, and dedication to delivering high-quality patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include antenatal and postnatal care, labour and birth support, emotional and physical support, and documentation and reporting.
* Antenatal and postnatal care involves conducting routine check-ups, providing health education, and supporting women and their families.
* Labour and birth support requires assisting during labour and delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.
* Emotional and physical support involves offering continuous care and support throughout the birthing process.
* Documentation and reporting includes maintaining accurate patient records and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
This position requires:
* Registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active registration with An Bord Altranais /Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
* Eligibility to work in Ireland, preferably holding an EU/EEA passport or possessing a suitable work visa.
* Triage training and certification are advantageous but not mandatory.
* A minimum 6 months post-registration experience and familiarity with Irish or UK healthcare systems (HSE/NHS or private) are required.
