Job Purpose: To ensure that all monthly accounts and associated reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner.
Key responsibilities: Preparation and reporting through Hyperion of monthly financial accounts on a timely basis.Preparation of monthly financial reports for management on a timely basis.Preparation of monthly analytical review of monthly financial accounts.Monitoring and tracking variances on a monthly basis.Review BSC accounting policies and revise local accounting policies where necessary (incl.
Sarbanes Oxley requirements).Liaison with the external and internal auditors.Assist in the implementation and development of Financial Systems.Monthly reconciliation of income statement and balance sheet accounts.Business Partner providing finance support and knowledge to assist the business & functional leaders to meet and exceed the 9-Panel targets.Support Corporate planning and forecast procedure.Financial support for plant and corporate projects.Actively engage in continuous improvement & 'lean business process' in Finance by driving incremental improvement to key processes.Education & Experience: Qualified accountant with ideally 2+ years' experience (manufacturing experience preferable).Strong planning and organisational skills to ensure timely delivery on all commitments.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Attention to detail & ability to manage complexity.Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues using analytical approach.As a leader in medical science for more than 40 years, we are committed to solving the challenges that matter most – united by a deep caring for human life.
