Communications Executive
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Communications Executive to support the internal and external communications efforts of our client in North Dublin. This role will ensure a cohesive and effective strategy to engage with employees, stakeholders, and the broader public.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Communications:
* Develop and implement internal communication strategies that align with organisational goals.
* Write, edit, and distribute internal newsletters, emails, and memos to keep employees informed of company updates, events, and initiatives.
* Collaborate with leadership and department heads to ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and impactful.
* Manage internal communication platforms and ensure content is regularly updated.
* Assist with planning and executing employee engagement initiatives, town halls, and other internal events.
* Collect and analyse employee feedback to continually improve internal communication efforts.
* Serve as a point of contact for internal communications inquiries and troubleshooting.
External Communications:
* Create and manage content for press releases, media pitches, blog posts, and social media to promote company initiatives, achievements, and updates.
* Develop and maintain relationships with external media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
* Monitor and respond to media inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* Draft and distribute company announcements, press releases, and responses to external stakeholders.
* Oversee the management of the company's social media presence, ensuring alignment with overall communication goals.
* Assist in the creation of marketing and promotional materials, including brochures, websites, and case studies.
* Track and report on external communication effectiveness and media coverage.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
* Proven experience in internal and external communications (2-5 years).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and communication tools.
* Strong understanding of communication strategies, media relations, and social media engagement.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
* Knowledge of specific industry is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with content management systems, media monitoring tools, and analytics platforms.
* Familiarity with graphic design tools or video editing software.
* Experience in crisis communication or managing high-stakes communication situations.
