This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by ensuring the highest standards of food safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance across our fast-paced operation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the Quality Control team, fostering high performance and continuous improvement.Ensure ongoing compliance with BRC Global Standards, retailer specifications, and food safety legislation.Manage site audits—both internal and external—including visits from retailers, EHOs, and certification bodies.Oversee food safety for Ready-To-Eat (RTE) product lines, with a strong emphasis on microbiological controls.Serve as the primary liaison for quality and technical matters with key retail partners such as Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, and Musgrave.Collaborate closely with Production and Technical departments to align quality with operational efficiency.Support continuous improvement initiatives, problem-solving efforts, and adherence to critical timelines.Travel within the UK or EU may be required for audits, meetings, or retailer engagement.RequirementsMinimum 5 years' experience in high-care or high-risk food production environments.In-depth knowledge of BRC standards and food safety systems.Experience working with auditors, EHOs, and technical teams from leading retail chains.Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience managing and motivating sizable teams.Excellent written and spoken English.Strong collaboration skills with a solution-focused mindset.Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.Desirable SkillsExperience with Tesco TFS, TQC, Inspectario, and Foods Connected platforms.Familiarity with retailer standards from Aldi, Lidl, Musgrave, and Dunnes Stores.Background in chilled convenience food or fresh produce manufacturing.Why Join Us?Be part of a progressive company with a focus on sustainability, quality, and innovation.Work in a state-of-the-art facility with opportunities for personal and professional development.Join a culture that values integrity, collaboration, and excellence.Apply TodayIf you're a quality-focused leader ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Bike to work schemeOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
