AA Euro Group has been retained by its client, a large multi-disciplinary Engineering consultancy, to recruit an Electrical Engineer to participate as a key member of their Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Team.
The successful candidate will be based in Tipperary working on Waste Water Treatment Plant projects in the area.

The Role:
Review and update existing electrical designs for plant upgrades, maintenance, and improvements.
Lead electrical engineering activities during the design, construction, and commissioning phases of wastewater treatment projects.
Oversee the installation of electrical equipment such as motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, switchgear, generators, and PLC systems.
Coordinate with mechanical engineers, civil engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
Ensure that the electrical designs and installations adhere to environmental, health, and safety regulations.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including risk assessments, safety plans, and technical reports.
Requirements:
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it would be an advantage.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on wastewater treatment plants, utilities, or similar industries.
Proven experience with electrical design, commissioning, and maintenance in large scale environments.
Familiarity with SCADA, PLC control systems, and automation in a process environment.
