The Role
We are seeking to recruit an Accounts & Office Administrator to work full time in the Dublin office to support the Financial Controller in the day‑to‑day management of the finance function to ensure accurate financial record‑keeping, timely processing of transactions, and contributes to the smooth operation of accounting and
Key Responsibilities
Support the Financial Controller with quarterly management reporting
Assist with month‑end close, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
Process purchase invoices and manage supplier payments (Sage e‑payments, EFT, bank transfers)
Issue membership and sponsorship invoices; monitor and manage accounts receivable
Post bank transactions and perform daily/weekly bank reconciliations.
Maintain supplier and customer records and update payment systems
Monitor aged creditor and debtor reports and support credit control activities
Maintain the fixed asset register
Support employee expense processing
Assist with budgeting and cashflow forecasting
Support audit preparation and funding/grant compliance requirements
Manage stock and programme materials
Collaborate with education and training teams to coordinate materials for programmes
Provide general office and administrative support
The Person
Previous experience in a similar role including accounting/ bookkeeping experience would be advantageous and the successful candidate will be required to:
Have strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook and a willingness to acquire new skills and adopt new IT practices where relevant
Have excellent organisational skills
Interact with all stakeholders in a professional manner
Manage priorities and multitask where necessary
Engage with colleagues to meet deadlines and work as a team player
Experience with Sage 50 accounting package would be advantageous
