We are seeking an experienced Contracts & Framework Manager to join our team in Kildare.
Key Responsibilities
Health, Safety & Environmental Management
Implement, monitor, and audit company policies and improvement action plans.
Ensure all incidents are reported, investigated, and resolved with corrective actions.
Continuously monitor performance and safety requirements, driving improvements.
Policy, Strategy & Risk Management
Operate in line with company policies and proactively promote local improvements.
Lead the submission of tender and prequalification bids to secure new framework work.
Ensure all business activities are effectively risk-managed.
Resource & Design Management
Allocate design and operational resources to meet workload demands.
Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of designs.
Identify innovative and efficient solutions during the design phase.
Engage in supply chain management principles to optimize performance.
Team Leadership & Development
Promote team ownership of framework objectives and business improvement activities.
Define clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability within the team.
Foster team spirit and encourage personal and professional development.
Operational Performance
Minimize costs and maximize value and profit across all projects.
Ensure effective planning, programming, and risk management throughout project lifecycles.
Set measurable performance targets and monitor progress.
Identify and reduce waste, addressing issues before escalation.
Financial Performance
Prepare and manage project commercial reports alongside the commercial team.
Implement cost reduction measures where feasible.
Maintain ownership of financial forecasts, cash flows, and monthly reporting.
Ensure all entitlements are identified, billed, and collected.
Business Improvement & Customer Satisfaction
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and monitor KPIs.
Conduct interim and post-contract reviews internally and with clients.
Build strong client relationships, resolve issues promptly, and demonstrate value-added services.
Key Measures & Targets
Adherence to all project and operational deadlines.
Achievement of financial, operational, and quality KPIs.
Effective team engagement and development.
Requirements
Previous experience in a framework management or similar senior role preferred.
Degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering, quantity surveying, or related discipline.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in change management and continuous improvement programs.
Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines.
IT literate and proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to lead by example, motivate teams, and recognize performance.
Proven experience building collaborative relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers.
