We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead and grow the sales and commercial function for our rapidly expanding operation in the fuels industry.
The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong leadership capabilities, and a results-focused approach, particularly within a start-up or scaling business environment.
This role will be central to accelerating growth from our Mullingar site, driving high performance standards, and shaping the future of commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive revenue growth through both inbound and outbound sales, with a strong focus on outbound activity.
* Identify and prospect potential customers via cold calling, email, and other communication channels.
* Utilise prospecting tools and software to increase engagement with potential clients.
* Build relationships with customers in both face-to-face and remote settings.
* Set, track, and achieve monthly and quarterly sales and performance goals.
* Assess client needs and recommend suitable solutions.
