About the RolePermanent HR Manager – Stryker Instruments, Cork. Hybrid working model. This role executes the talent strategy, provides a consistent experience to directors, managers and employees, and supports the engagement strategy for the market. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of all HR functions and work with business clients and HR partners in areas such as employee relations, compensation, performance management, workforce planning, succession planning, change management, leadership capability initiatives, organisational design, and organisational development.ResponsibilitiesServe as subject‑matter expert to managers and directors.Implement change based on proven change‑management techniques.Apply and interpret policies and procedures across the organisation.Apply compliance knowledge to protect the organisation and mitigate risk.Identify and report trends to Senior HR Leaders for the business unit.Facilitate difficult interactions among stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes and resolve escalated conflicts.Build consensus and settle disputes on HR policy and practice decisions.Execute HR business strategies to drive key business results and provide guidance on HR matters.Partner with business leaders to support workforce planning activities, ensuring organisational capability, talent availability and succession readiness align with current and future needs.Support organisational design and effectiveness initiatives to enhance team performance, accountability and outcomes.Lead organisational development interventions as required.Contribute to talent management and succession planning processes, including talent reviews, leadership assessment and development planning.Utilise workforce insights and organisational data to identify opportunities to strengthen leadership capability, employee engagement and performance.Demonstrate working knowledge of the labour market and its impact on organisational success.Co‑operate with managers, directors and HR to proactively implement business solutions.Co‑achieve employee engagement and leadership development programs.Analyse root causes of work‑environment issues and manage interventions collaboratively with stakeholders.Qualifications8+ years of HR experience, with exposure across multiple functions and key business interactions.Previous HR experience at a manager or HRBP level with increasing responsibility.Strong facilitation, consulting, relationship‑building, influence, negotiation and project‑management skills.Demonstrated business and analytical ability with proven relationship‑building and insight‑leveraging skills.Experience supporting workforce planning, talent management and succession planning processes in a complex environment.Experience building leadership capability at multiple organisational levels.Track record of partnering on organisational effectiveness, organisational design and change‑management initiatives.Experience using people analytics and workforce insights to support decision‑making.Strong conflict‑resolution and coaching skills, with advanced written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Education & Special TrainingsB.A. or B.S. from an accredited university (required). Advanced degree preferred.Work FlexibilityHybrid – regular work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Option for remote work up to 100% of the time from an alternate workplace. Employee may need to travel within the country of the job location or within a defined territory.
