Senior Mechanical Project Engineer – Data Centres / Pharma / Commercial Projects (BH-2796-3)Location: Dublin, IrelandSalary: €75,000.00 – €90,000.00 per annum + vehicle + bonus + pension + healthcare
Responsibilities
Ensure all mechanical works are delivered in line with health and safety standards and project requirements
Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation to fully understand project scope
Coordinate and manage design reviews ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations
Monitor installation works to ensure quality, accuracy and adherence to programme
Attend client and design meetings, providing technical input and clear communication across stakeholders
Manage procurement processes including technical submittals and supplier coordination
Review specialist subcontractor packages for compliance with design intent and specifications
Identify and communicate design changes, scope variations and cost implications
Develop engineering solutions including calculations and technical sketches where required
Support commissioning planning and coordinate with quality teams on inspection processes
About You
Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
4+ years experience in a mechanical project engineering role within construction or building services
Strong understanding of HVAC, pipework and mechanical systems on large scale projects
Proven ability to review designs, manage technical documentation and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders
Organised and detail focused with the ability to work to tight deadlines
Solutions driven with a proactive approach to problem solving on site
