About Our Senior Site Engineer Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join our team on a high-profile construction project in Cork. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site engineering operations, ensuring the project meets quality, safety, and programme targets.
As a key member of our team, you will coordinate with project managers, design teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to maintain smooth project delivery. Your technical expertise will include managing setting out, surveying, and QA documentation in line with company and client standards. You will also ensure compliance with technical specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will have the chance to develop your leadership skills by supporting junior engineers and promoting a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement on site.
We are looking for candidates who possess a Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline, with 5-7 years of experience working with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor on high-rise commercial construction projects. Additionally, we require candidates with strong technical knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, faade systems, and fit-out coordination. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, along with proficiency in surveying and setting out instruments (e.g., GPS, Total Station, Auto CAD).
