Job Description:
Core tasks and responsibilities:
1. KPI Delivery
2. Disciplined focus on day-to-day delivery of the site KPI metrics
3. A clear focus on EHS management promoting a Zero-Harm culture
4. Team Leadership & Coaching
5. Empowered leadership style
6. Provides support, recognition and opportunity for growth
7. Instrumental in delivering direct coaching to develop individuals and teams
8. Develop succession planning roadmaps and a talent pipeline
9. Optimum use of headcount resource planning with strategic review and implementation
10. Deliver optimum training and development plans for the team
11. Manage and lead a team culture to drive performance improvements
12. As a Senior Leadership Team member, contribute to, lead and support the wider business goals
13. Support front-line team leaders to deliver across all site metrics
14. Champion Continuous Improvement across the site whilst implementing best practice processes and procedures
15. Continuously improve site performance metrics
16. Strategically focus on performance
17. Fast response to line issues and unblocking barriers to performance
18. Lead CI events through 5S / Kaizen / PDCA etc.
19. Analytical ability to work through complex issues
20. Ability to network across the wider business to learn and improve the site performance whilst enhancing the site’s reputation globally
21. Work closely with local agencies to learn and grow the site reputation within Ireland
22. Build strong relationships with other departments to ensure optimum performance and productivity
23. Continually review productivity goals to drive cost savings
Interested applicants should have:
1. At least 5 years' direct production experience at a Senior Management level. Minimum degree qualification (level 8), in Engineering or another discipline
2. Be a strategic, goal-focused individual with high intensity and a passion for leading, managing, and developing teams
3. Ability to deliver complex solutions in close collaboration with key stakeholders
4. Readily accepts ownership, accountability, and responsibility in delivering effective solutions
5. Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills required
