Key Responsibilities
Carry out on‑site inspection, commissioning and fault‑finding of ASCO and related power systems (e.g. ATS, switchgear, Power Control Systems).
Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive service work to maintain optimal system performance.
Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently, providing clear technical recommendations to customers.
Maintain accurate service reports, documentation and compliance records in line with company and regulatory standards.
Build strong relationships with customers through professional communication and high service standards.
Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with Irish health and safety regulations and Schneider Electric policies.
Participate in on‑call / standby rota where required.
Collaborate with internal teams (sales, engineering, operations) to support project delivery and identify service opportunities.
Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
Location & Travel
Based in Ireland (ideally Dublin / Leinster region), with regular travel nationwide.
Occasional travel to the UK or Europe may be required.
Qualifications & Experience
Technical qualification in Electrical / Electronic Engineering (Level 6 or higher preferred).
Strong experience in power systems, switchgear or critical power equipment.
Proven ability in fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of electrical systems.
Understanding of low voltage / medium voltage systems (desirable).
Full, clean Irish driving licence required.
