Our client a growing organisation operating within the services sector and partly state funded are currently looking to recruit an experienced Finance Manager on a contract basis for 12 months
The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Description
* Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports.
* Reporting to the group and Group Finance
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
* Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
* Coordinate and lead the annual audit process with external auditors.
* Supervise and mentor the accounting team to ensure professional growth.
* Evaluate and improve financial systems and procedures for efficiency.
* Collaborate with various departments to align financial goals with business objectives.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
* A strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
* Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) are desirable.
* Proven expertise in financial management and reporting
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
