We are seeking a seasoned Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team.
As a key member of the brigade, you will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality dishes during service. You will work closely with senior chefs to contribute to menu development, food preparation, and maintaining impeccable food safety standards.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations in your designated kitchen section
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to consistently high standards
* Collaborate with senior chefs on menu planning and specials
* Maintain accurate food stock levels and support cost control initiatives
* Support the wider team in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Chef de Partie or equivalent commis chef experience
* Formal culinary training or relevant NVQ/QQI qualification
* Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and allergen protocols (HACCP certified)
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
* Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
