Role Summary My client is hiring a Property Claims Handler or Property Adjuster to join their team. Youll handle a portfolio of varied private and corporate claims, working to bring each to a successful conclusion. The role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, confident negotiation, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of service. Key Responsibilities Manage a diverse portfolio of complex private and corporate cases from start to finish. Interpret contracts, policy terms, and relevant regulatory requirements. Prepare clear, detailed reports and provide expert insight on all aspects of each case. Oversee financial elements, including payment approvals, cost reviews, and final settlements. Engage external specialists such as technical or forensic experts when required. Maintain excellent client service across all interactions with clients, underwriters, and external partners. Identify early opportunities for recovery or subrogation. Detect and address suspicious or non-compliant claims in line with company protocols. Record and resolve client concerns or complaints efficiently. Keep accurate, up-to-date electronic records for all cases. Skills and Experience Required Experience: At least 3 years in property claims resolution, desk-based or road-based. Qualifications: Relevant professional certification or industry accreditation is preferred. Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills, with a strong client service focus. Technical Knowledge (Advantageous): Understanding of physical asset structures, potential failures, or related technical areas. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess information, solve problems, and make sound decisions. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and care in reviewing and completing work. IT Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general business software. Adaptability: Willingness to adjust working hours when needed to manage caseloads.
