Role Summary
As a key on-site leader, the Center Director oversees all aspects of clinical and operational performance at the Brick location. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role ensures the center runs efficiently, ethically, and in alignment with our mission of high-quality, individualized care.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and support all center-based staff, including licensed therapists (BCBAs, OTs, PTs, SLPs), RBTs, and administrative team members
* Manage daily operations, including scheduling, coverage, documentation compliance, and clinic flow
* Drive team development through meetings, check-ins, performance coaching, and mentorship
* Address family concerns and ensure a high standard of care delivery
* Maintain payer compliance, including documentation, authorizations, and timely submission of treatment plans
* Monitor and manage key metrics such as utilization, timesheet accuracy, and authorized hours delivered
* Collaborate with billing, authorization, and scheduling teams to ensure timely service delivery and efficient clinic operations
* Audit clinical documentation including session notes, parent training logs, and treatment plans
* Encourage interdisciplinary collaboration between ABA, OT, PT, and Speech teams
* Maintain HIPAA and regulatory compliance standards across all services
* Eligible for bonus opportunities based on center performance
* Maintain a low billable hour requirement — role is leadership- and operations-focused
* Support and assist with center growth initiatives as needed
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
* Active license as a BCBA, Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapist (PT), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
* 10+ years of experience in your licensed field
* 5+ years in a leadership role, with at least 2 years in a healthcare setting
* Strong operational mindset with a deep understanding of interdisciplinary care
* Experience navigating payer guidelines, insurance documentation, and regulatory compliance
* Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams
Preferred:
* Experience managing a pediatric therapy or ABA clinic
* Familiarity with Central Reach (EMR)
* Knowledge of New Jersey Medicaid and managed care systems
